Under the main topic Challenges and Opportunities in Sport in modern society researchers will focus on three subthemes: Dual career / Digitalisation / Women in top-class sport.
Between the opening ceremony with a first general introduction to the main topic and the wrap-up in the end just before the Closing ceremony there will be a rich program with different formats e.g. plenary sessions, parallel sessions, poster session, round tables. The day after the confernce is reserved for visits to the competitions and cultural program.
The conference is located at the building of the University of Lucerne and organised by the University of Lucerne, the Universities of teacher education Lucerne, Zug and Schwyz and the Universities of Applied Sciences of Lucerne and Grisons.

Call for Papers
The objective of the conference is to create a networking platform for scientists who will present and promote the research on scientific innovations and enhance the sustainable development of sports. It is in particular an opportunity for the young generation of scientists and scholars from different disciplines to discuss new ideas or to arrange projects/cooperative efforts in the area of sports.
Under the main topic Challenges and Opportunities in Sport in modern society researchers and experts from different areas are invited for submissions of abstracts on the three subthemes. The call is aimed at students, scholars and researchers from various disciplines such as sports science, sociology, educational science, management, marketing, etc. and experts concerned with sport and its integrating function in world society.
